McDonald's Cactus Flea Market

McDonald’s has started a new campaign with “Cactus Plant Flea Market”. They are selling “adult” happy meals that each come with one of four toys. I’ve read a lot of articles and people online talking about how the toys are ugly. I don’t think they are hideous, but they definitely aren’t the most appealing things in the world. However, these adult happy meals seem to be selling really well. I think this is more due to the nostalgia factor than the toy design. Adults want to relive their childhood and get that familiar box of food. Nostalgia is a great tool to utilize when selling things (especially to my generation).
